My teaching pedagogy relies on my personal experiences, as both a design student and researcher, to facilitate a process that is inclusive, employs critical thinking skills, and involves the acquisition of lifelong learning.

I draw on these experiences to create understandable and relatable curriculum, in an environment that is conducive to the new generation of design thinkers and doers.

As a design enthusiast, one of my goals as an educator is to encourage my students to pursue their passion for this discipline, whether personally and professionally.

To me, it is absolutely imperative that students not only understand of the role of design in today’s society, but are able to think and communicate critically about the practice itself as well.

Currently I teach two courses, Design Theory and Interior Materials and Finishes, through The Chang School of Continuing Education at Ryerson University.
